My Innovation Challenge (catapult)
In the beginning, Keahi and I went through the design process with making our catapult(s). We asked questions, researched, and designed solutions. The first catapult that we made was made out of dowels, zip ties, and a spoon. We didn't quite finish our catapults but this is what we got so far. So for the first one, we had a square base and put three dowels up on the sides to hold up the plastic spoon. Moving on to the second catapult. It somewhat like the first one but with different materials. We used cardboard, popsicle sticks, and rubber bands. Basically you just pull back the stick and then it's supposed to fling the tennis ball forward just like the spoon was supposed to do from the first catapult. Again we didn't finish making it in time.
